How can I check before riding how many helmet sensors
are linked to the motorcycle unit?
Press the helmet sensor button on the motorcycle unit. If the
LED flashes once, 1 sensor is connected. If the LED flashes twice,
2 sensors are connected. If the LED flashes three times, 3 sensors
are connected.
The maintenance LED stays lit after I have switched the
system on.
This may be for the following reasons:
1. The system must be serviced because the service life expires
after 24 months. A reactivation is required.
2. The unit is defective. In both cases, if this LED lights, you
should send the device to your authorized dealer.
In which countries can I use the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall?
In all EU countries except Cyprus, plus Liechtenstein and
Switzerland.

After 24 months you have the opportunity to purchase an
extension to the operation of your SCHUBERTH RiderEcall System
by a further two years in each case. In case of such an extension,
the proper functioning of the system must be checked. This will
be carried out by your authorized dealer. Because the capacity
of your helmet sensor's battery is declining and the emergency
battery must also be checked. This is also because the battery in
the helmet sensor will be reaching the end of its life by this time,
and the capacity of the emergency battery in the motorcycle unit
will also need to be checked.
One month before the expiry of the 24 month period you
will receive a written reminder from SCHUBERTH to have your
motorcycle unit and your helmet sensor checked by your
authorized dealer.
Your authorized dealer will replace the battery in your helmet
sensor and check the entire SCHUBERTH RiderEcall system for
proper functioning. Reactivation is carried out automatically.
Should your subscription not be renewed, the system will switch
off automatically 4 weeks after expiry at the latest.
