Note: The service will function for two years from the initial
activation of the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall device. Once this
period expires, you must purchase a renewal of the service,
available for further two-year periods. An e-mail will be
sent in good time to remind you to renew. If you do not
renew the rescue service, the device will be automatically
deactivated and will no longer function.
Note: In the event of an accident, the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall
may fail to work if it has been mechanically damaged during
the accident or if the aerial is inconveniently obscured in
such as way that no GPS/GSM signal is available despite
network coverage being present.
This employee will alert the nearest official rescue centre,
wherever you are within the European Union (with the exception
of Cyprus), Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
An emergency call will be triggered in the event of an accident
report. Alternatively you can also make a manual emergency
call by holding the SOS key down for three seconds. In this
case a 10 second pre-alarm sounds. During this time the
emergency call can be cancelled using the X button (Cancel). If
it is not cancelled, the accident report will be forwarded to the
emergency service centre after the 10 second period. Following
this you can communicate with the emergency service centre
using the microphone installed in the motorcycle unit. In order
to do this you must be within a range of about 3 m of the
motorcycle unit.
