3. Pull the protective film away from
the adhesive surface on the rubber
housing.
4. The helmet sensor may be attached
either vertically or horizontally. The
helmet sensor may not be attached
outwith the mounting area. It may
be not be placed on the visor (field of
vision).
5. Press the assembled helmet sensor
firmly onto the helmet shell.
6. The adhesive will reach its full adhesive
strength after about 24 hours.
Tip: Position the assembled helmet sensor in the centre
of the rear of the helmet to minimise its effect on the
aerodynamic and acoustic properties of the helmet.
Note: The SCHUBERTH RiderEcall is designed for SCHUBERTH
premium helmets. But it can also be used on helmets from
other manufacturers (without warranty).
Note: If you use the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall with helmets
from other manufacturers, this may possibly result in these
helmets being modified to such an extent that they are
no longer suitable for use. This could result in fines and
insurance penalties being incurred. SCHUBERTH cannot be
held liable for any such disadvantages or damage.
Note: If you wish to purchase an extended period of
operation, the helmet sensor and the motorcycle unit must
be returned to your authorized dealer after 24 months.
(Chapter 14 Service and maintenance). To this end, please
remove the helmet sensor from the helmet shell. (The helmet
sensor is easier to remove from the helmet shell by turning
it slightly). Please send only the helmet sensor and the
motorcycle unit (without the helmet).
