1.2 How it works

The SCHUBERTH RiderEcall will not switch on.
Check that the power cable is properly attached and connected.
Hold down the ON/OFF button for at least 3 seconds. You can tell
that the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall is on when the power LED lights
green. (See page 12)
Can I replace the battery?
No. For safety reasons, only your authorized dealer may replace
the accumulator. If any damage is caused to the unit as a result
of unauthorised battery replacement, the warranty is voided.
Please never open the housing of the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall.
Are software/firmware updates available for the
SCHUBERTH RiderEcall?
Yes. Updates will be provided as they occur and will be made
available on the SCHUBERTH website.
Is the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall Software Mac-compatible?
N0.
What is the operating range of the microphone and
loudspeaker of the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall?
In ideal conditions the range of the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall
speaker and microphone is approx. 3 m from the motorcycle unit
(depending on the noise level in the surroundings).

Can the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall be used when it is raining?
Yes. It is protected against water and dust (IP 65 ingress
protection).
What is the operating range between the SCHUBERTH
RiderEcall motorcycle unit and the helmet sensor?
The range between the motorcycle unit and the helmet sensor of
the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall is approx. 5 metres.
How many helmet sensors can I link to the motorcycle
unit?
A maximum of 3 helmet sensors can be linked to one motorcycle
unit.
How can I connect the helmet sensors to the motorcycle
unit?
You require the software for the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall.
For this follow the instructions on page 30.
The SCHUBERTH RiderEcall upgrade software does not
work.
Close all windows of the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall upgrade software
and restart the program.
My SCHUBERTH RiderEcall cannot detect a GPS/GSM signal.
Check that the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall has a clear view to the sky
and that the signal is not being blocked by body or fairing parts.
