3. scoPe oF deliVery

Your package contains:
• The helmet sensor with built-in battery, contained within
a rubber housing
• The motorcycle unit with built-in battery, integrated SIM
card and a serial number, which is already attached to the
power supply cable.
• The mounting for the motorcycle unit
• This manual
• The abridged version for a quick start-up (Quick Start Guide)
• The demo DVD
• USB cable
Note: For the faultless functioning of the SCHUBERTH
RiderEcall, SCHUBERTH recommends fixing the motorcycle unit
to the handlebars or the triple clamp of your motorcycle if
possible with the mounting bracket provided. Line-of-sight
contact with the sky (GPS satellite) must be available in order
to receive a GPS/GSM signal; otherwise the unit will not work.

4. registration

Before you can use the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall service you must
register and activate the unit with SCHUBERTH. When you activate
the unit, it will be set to your language and the built-in SIM card
will be activated for GSM communication.
Note: The device will not function until it is activated and
can only then issue emergency calls.
You can register and activate your system online at:
www.schuberth.com/riderecall-register. If you have already
registered for another SCHUBERTH service (e.g. the Mobility
programme or the RiderEcall update service), simply log in to
the customer services area at www.schuberth.com/login and
complete the information for your SCHUBERTH RiderEcall.
Please have the serial number - displayed both on the motorcycle
unit and on the packaging - ready when registering. Once you
have completed all the mandatory fields, click the Save button.
After doing this you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Click
on the link contained in this e-mail to complete registration.
You can change your registration details (e.g. change of address)
at any time. You will receive a password for this purpose. By
entering this password and your e-mail address you can edit your
data at any time.
