If communication cannot be achieved, the responsible rescue
coordination centre will always be informed immediately of the
accident report as well as the associated information from the
registration, the emergency file data and the coordinates of your
current location. The rescue centre will then immediately send
an ambulance to you.
Note: Please bear in mind that the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall is
an emergency system. Under no circumstances should you use
it in the event of a breakdown.
Note: For problem-free functioning the SCHUBERTH RiderEcall
requires constant network coverage.
13. action to take in an emergency
Make the scene of the accident safe. Beware of traffic. Move
away from the roadway quickly and proceed to a safe place, e. g.
behind the crash barrier if on a motorway.
Note: In the event of an accident you have a legal
responsibility to offer aid to all other persons involved in
the accident if it is required and if it is reasonable in the
circumstances. Failure to render assistance is punishable by
a fine. In an emergency, first aid can make the difference
between life and death. You should refresh your first aid
knowledge periodically by attending a first aid course.
Tip: SCHUBERTH recommends keeping a warning triangle and
a first aid kit specially developed for motorcyclists in your
baggage. In many countries such first-aid pouches have long
been mandatory.
