WARNUNG: Prüfen Sie das Gerät
vor jeder Anwendung auf seine
Funktionsfähigkeit. Bei offensichtlichen
Schäden darf das Gerät nicht verwendet
werden.
Druckstabilität und Dichtheit
1. Als Betriebsart PÄDIATRIE einstellen.
2. Als Sollwerte 12 mmHg und 1,0 l/min
verwenden.
3. Den Anschluss des Patientenschlauches am
Gerät überprüfen.
4. Den Hahn am Instrument schließen.
5. Die Insufflation starten.
Daraufhin baut sich im Schlauch ein Druck
auf, der über den Sollwert ansteigt und nach
wenigen Sekunden über das Überdruckventil
(Entlüftungsventil) abgebaut wird.
6. Das Instrumentenverhalten 30 s lang
beobachten.

HINWEIS: Die Flussanzeige darf nur kurzzei-
tig Werte größer Null annehmen.
Wird der Solldruck auch bei geschlossenem
Hahn am Instrument nur langsam erreicht
oder beobachten Sie stationäre Durchfluss-
werte von 0,2 l/min oder höher, liegt eine
Undichtigkeit am System Filter – Patienten-
schlauch – Instrument vor.
7. In diesem Fall die Steckverbin dungen prüfen
und bei Bedarf das Schlauchset wechseln.

WARNUNG: Arbeiten Sie nicht mit einem
undichten System. Es besteht die Gefahr
eines unkontrollierbaren Anstiegs des
Intraabdominaldrucks.

WARNING: Test the device prior to
each surgical procedure to ensure that it
functions correctly. The device should not
be used if any damage is evident.
Pressure stability and leakproofness
1. Set the mode to 'PEDIATRICS'.
2. Use 12 mmHg and 1.0 l/min as setpoint
values.
3. Check the connection of the patient tube to
the device.
4. Close the stopcock on the instrument.
5. Start insufflation.
Pressure then builds up in the tube which
increases above the setpoint value and which,
after a few seconds, is released via the blow
off valve.
6. Observe the instrument's conduct over a
30 second period.

NOTE: The flow display may only show
values greater than zero for short periods.
If the set pressure is only reached slowly
even when the instrument's stopcock is
closed or if you note stationary flow rates
of 0.2 l/min or more, there is a leak in the
system filter – patient tube – instrument.
7. In this case, check the connections and, if
necessary, change the tube set.

WARNING: Do not work with a
leaky device. There is a risk that the
intraabdominal pressure will increase in an
uncontrollable manner.

CUIDADO: Compruebe la capacidad de
funcionamiento del aparato antes de cada
aplicación. El aparato no debe utilizarse si
presenta deterioros manifiestos.
Estabilidad de presión y estanqueidad
1. Ejecute el modo de servicio "PEDIATRÍA".
2. Utilice los valores nominales 12 mmHg y
1,0 l/min.
3. Compruebe la conexión del tubo flexible para
el paciente en el aparato.
4. Cierre la llave del instrumento.
5. Inicie la insuflación.
A continuación, en el tubo flexible se genera una
presión, la cual se incrementa hasta superar el
valor nominal y, después de unos segundos, se
evacua mediante una válvula de descarga.
6. Observe el comportamiento del instrumental
durante 30 s.

NOTA: El indicador del flujo sólo debe adop-
tar brevemente valores mayores que cero.
En caso de que la presión nominal se al-
cance lentamente incluso estando la llave
cerrada, o si observa valores estacionarios
de flujo de 0,2 l/min o superiores, existe falta
de estanqueidad en el sistema formado por
el filtro, el tubo flexible para el paciente y el
instrumento.
7. En este caso, compruebe las conexiones de
enchufe y, si es necesario, reemplace el set
de tubos flexibles por uno nuevo.

CUIDADO: Trabaje siempre con un siste-
ma estanco, dado que, si el sistema no es
estanco, la presión intraabdominal puede
aumentar de manera incontrolada.
