With the alarm float in ON position, check correct operation of the remote alarm connected to the terminals
Q (n°31-32), remembering that, in the standard supply version, the contact has no potential.
N.B.: The power circuit for the alarm system must be provided with a PELV safety circuit (CEI EN 60204-1).
Otherwise ensure that the earth lead of the float is connected to the terminal

Using the panel to feed in-line circulating pumps or domestic booster sets
To set the panel operation for in-line pumps or for booster sets it is indispensable to remove the jumper O connected to
terminals 23-24.

Troubleshooting E2D 2,6 M - E2D 6 M - E2D 6 M HS
FAULTS
1.
One of
the two
motors (P1 and/or
P2) is not fed.
2.
The protection ref.
QM1
or
QM2
intervenes.
3.
The
thermal
protection in the
windings of motor
P1 or P2 trips.
4.
The pump P1 or P2
continues delivering
and
does
not
respond to external
commands.
5.
The panel does not
automatically invert
the starting order of
the two pumps.
6.
The remote control
switch ref. KM1-
KM2
is
fed
intermittently.
CHECK (POSSIBLE CAUSES)
A. The magnetothermal switch of the panel (ref.
QM1 or Q M2) or the differential automatic
switch on the distribution panel have
tripped.
B.
No voltage on terminals L1-N.
C.
The protection of the internal transformer
has tripped.
D. The fuse FU1 has tripped.
E.
The remote control switches ref. KM1 and
KM2 vibrate.
F.
The exchange module SZ2 is faulty.
A. Pump P1 or P2 impeller blocked.
The timer for regulating strong static
B.
torque time is set over 4 seconds
(only for E2D 6 M HS ).
A. Check the working environment temperature
of the electropumps P1 or P2.
B.
P1 or P2 pump impeller blocked or clogged.
C.
Check the state of the rotor shaft bearings of
electropump P1 or P2.
A. The floats are not correctly connected to the
control panel.
B.
The floats are faulty.
C.
The remote control switch KM1 or KM2 is
faulty (contacts are stuck).
D. The exchange module SZ2 is faulty.
A. The relè KA1 coil don't works.
B.
The module SZ2 is faulty.
A. The connections of the leads from the motor
are inverted on the control unit terminals
(only for E2D 6 M, E2D 6 M HS).
ENGLISH
A. Check the insulation of the pump cables, of the
pump or of the floats. Reset the magnetothermal
switch located in the panel (ref. QM1 or QM2) or
the differential switch on the distribution panel.
B.
Check the control unit connecting cables and any
switches or insulating switches in the system.
C.
Turn off the main switch for three minutes, then
switch it on again. Starting of the electropump
excludes the fault. If the electropump is not fed, or
is temporarily fed, identify any short circuits in the
secondary circuit of the transformer.
D. Find any short circuits in the primary winding of
the transformer and change the fuse that has
tripped.
E.
The supply voltage is insufficient.
F.
Turn the selector SA1 to
attention to the "important" note (par.
8.3.3).
A. Carry out maintenance to free the impeller
Set the timer
B.
ref. KT1-KT2.
A. Reduce the temperature of the fluid to be pumped.
B.
Carry out maintenance to free the impeller.
C.
Change the bearings of pump P1 or P2 if worn
A. Correctly connect the pressure switches and check
operation of the system (par. 8.3)
B.
Change the floats.
C.
Change the part.
D. Turn the selector SA1 to
attention to the "important" note par. 8.3.3).
A. Change the part.
B.
Change the part
NB: TEMPORARY OPERATION: to keep the set
operating in the event of malfunction of the module
connect the connector XC1 to the
SZ2,
connector XC2, keeping the selector SA1 in
position
A. Connect the leads from the motor, strictly
respecting the enclosed diagrams.
