Lubrication of the knife drive gearbox (Figure 44)
The Schumacher gearbox requires periodic lubrication with lubricating grease.
Remove the locking screws (P) of the hood and open the left side protection (V).
Lubricate the corner lubricator.

Vertical side knife
Lubricate the lubrication nipple in both vertical side cutters every 40 operating hours.
Remove the corresponding protection (B) by unscrewing the hex socket bolts (A).
Place the lubrication nipple on the crankshaft over the hole (S).
After lubrication, return the corresponding protective parts.
