In order to avoid position differences between PROFINET and SSI interface, the
exact number of SSI data bits under the parameter Data bits SSI-interface
must be programmed. The number results from the programmed Total measuring
range, see page 114.
6.6.7.1 No special format
A synchronous-serial data transmission with No special format is min. 8 bits, or
max. 28 bits long. The data transmission begins with the most significant bit (MSB)
and contains the position bits (P).
Related to a certain number of clocks, the data can be shifted arbitrarily by the
parameter data bits SSI-interface. The data can be transmitted right-justified
or left-justified, with leading "zeros" and without leading "zeros". Leading "zeros" are
produced if the parameter data bits SSI-interface is programmed larger, as it
would be necessary from the total measuring length.
