6.6.3.1 Resolution
Defines how many steps the measuring system outputs for one revolution of the
measuring system shaft.

Defines the number of revolutions before the measuring system restarts at zero.

From the parameters indicated above the Measurement length in steps is
derived and can be calculated with the formula below. As the value "0" is already
counted as a step, the end value = Measurement length in steps - 1.
To calculate, the parameters Steps per revolution and the Number of
revolutions can be read on the measuring system nameplate.

As the internal absolute position (before scaling and zero point adjustment) is
periodically repeated after 4096 revolutions - for applications where the number of
revolutions is not an exponent of 2 and rotation is infinitely in the same direction,
there is always an offset.
For such applications the configuration "C__65_-EPN TR-Special" is to be used.
