Switching the device on/off

To switch on and off, use the main switch on the front of of the device, see section "Mechanical
design" on page 25.

Starting/stopping rotation

The rotation speed can be continuously adjusted within a range of 20-100 rpm via the rotary
knob.
CAUTION
Before switching on the device, make sure that all vessels are securely
fixed and closed.
Never touch rotating parts with your hands. Do not bend over rotating
parts.
Wear tight-fitting work clothes, remove jewelry before starting work, tie
long hair under a hair net or under a suitable head covering.
Constant rotation is ensured by electronic speed monitoring.

Switch on the device: the rotary movement starts.

Use the speed controller to set the desired rotation speed.

Before switching off, turn the speed controller back to minimum.

Switch off the device: the rotary movement stops.
In the event of a mains voltage interruption, the device must be switched
off and on again with the main switch for restarting.

Troubleshooting

Possible cause – remedy
No power supply, check power supply cord.
Fuse defective, replace.
On/off switch to OFF, switch on.
On/off switch defective: contact technical
service.
Overheat protection has tripped: allow the device
to cool down for approx. 20 min, reduce the load
if necessary.
Mechanical defect, motor/electronic defective:
contact technical service.
