Multi-use adaptor

Vessels of various widths and heights with ground-in stoppers or screw caps as well as
complete test tube racks can be clamped in the multi-use adaptor. Vessels clamped together
must always have the same height.
Permissible dimensions vessels/rack: Height (min./max.) 45 mm/160 mm, max. width
230 mm:
• Loosen the quick-release nuts [1] with 1-2
turns and pull the top upwards.
• Place the tubes or a test tube rack in the
multi-use adaptor.
• Press the top of the adaptor down parallel
to the bottom, keep it pressed, guide the
quick-release nuts [1] over the threaded
bolts [2] and secure both with 1-2 turns.
Adaptor 1
[Adaptor 1] is a test tube holder for up to 20 test tubes/test tubes with a diameter of 10 to 18
mm and a maximum length of 160 mm:
• On the 1st level, pull the tension spring
over a recess towards the center of the
rack.
• Push your vessel through the recess in
front of the tension spring in such a way
that the spring now presses the vessel
outward against the narrow side of the
recess.
• Continue pushing your vessel through the
2nd level and repeat the spring tensioning.
