MOUNTING AIR INLET GRILLE
12.2 TEMPORARY HANGING OF AIR INLET GRILLE
12.2.1 For P-GP160NAP and P-GP160KAP

C A U T I O N
• Make sure to turn off the power to the indoor unit before temporarily
hanging the air inlet grille.
• Bundle the extra length of the suspension wire so that it will not be
sucked into the fan of the indoor unit. The fan or elevating mechanism
may be damaged.

N O T E
• If force is applied to the air inlet grille before taking power supply, the
air inlet grille may lower slowly.
• In that case, hold the air inlet grille with hand to stop the descent.
1 Attach the temporary hook (accessory) to the air inlet grille.

2 Attach the temporary hook to the air panel.

Since the elevating grille is driven by a motor, the air inlet grille
cannot be stored before taking power supply. Use the hook
(accessory) to temporarily hang the air inlet grille.

N O T E
• If force is applied to the air inlet grille before taking power supply, the
air inlet grille may lower slowly.
• Make sure to temporarily hang the air inlet grille before taking power
supply.
• If the elevating operation is performed with the air inlet grille
temporarily hooked, the elevating mechanism may be damaged.
• Attach the temporary hook as shown below.
1 Attach the temporary hook as shown below. Put the extra
length of suspension wire on the back of the air inlet grille
and store it together.
Hang the temporary hook in the hole near
the wire guide attachment part of the air
panel. (2 places on the diagonal)

Tie the string of the
temporary hook to the
rib in the center of the air
inlet grill (2 places)
2 When the air inlet grille can be moved up and down after
taking power supply, remove the temporary hook and hang
the air inlet grille.
3 Hand over the removed temporary hooks (2 pcs.) to the
customer. Explain to store them.
