C A U T I O N
Pay attention to perform the installation work at high-place using a
stepladder, etc.

N O T E
• Do not move the louver by hand.
• If moved, the louver mechanism will be damaged.
• In addition, do not apply an excessive force to the air outlet part to
prevent the breakage.
1 Check that the distance from the unit under surface to the
false ceiling surface is 40mm (+5mm) (*1).

2 Remove the air inlet grille from the air panel.
• In the case of P-GP160NAP and P-GP160KAP:
a. Open the air inlet grille while sliding the knobs on both
ends of the air inlet grille in the direction of the arrow.
b. Remove the safety chains (2 places) from the air panel
while supporting the air inlet grille with one hand.
c. After opening the air inlet grille about 90° once, tilt it to
the closing direction to remove the air inlet grille. Remove
the tape (3 places) that secures the air filter. (Remove
the filament tape (4 portions) fixing the air filter.)

N O T E
• The above method for removing the air inlet grille shows how to work
with the air panel on the floor.
• The safety chain is attached to the air inlet grille. If the air inlet grille is
opened with great force, it may be damaged.

• In case of P-GP160NAPU:
a. Remove the tape that secures the air inlet grille and
remove the air inlet grille from the air panel. Remove the
tape (3 places) that secures the air filter.
3 The decorative grille can be removed by pushing in the
knobs on both ends of the decorative grille and pulling it out
in the direction of the arrow.

N O T E
• Make sure to push up the knob and then pull out the decorative grille.
• If the decorative grille is forcibly pulled out, it may be damaged.
4 Remove the corner pocket covers.
Loosen the one screw that secures the corner pocket cover.
Slide the corner pocket cover in the direction of the arrow
(horizontal direction) to remove it.

N O T E
• When removing the corner cover, do not pull vertically. If it is pulled
vertically, the mounting tab may be damaged.
• The corner cover may not remove if the tip of the long screw for
securing panel is pressed from the back side. If it does not remove,
lift the air panel and remove the corner cover.
5 Pull down the two "U" shaped hooks found on the indoor
unit. Fit the corner position for the refrigerant pipe
connection at the indoor unit with the position stamped as
"Ref. Pipe ". Then, fasten the C-shaped hinges to
the U-shaped hooks (two portions).
6 Fix the air panel to the mounting plate with the factory-
supplied long screws (M6 cross screws). When tightening, do
not use power tools with high torque (such as impact drivers).
