5.10 Filter
In the private swimming pool sector, filter pumps should run approx. 10 hours every day.
The pool water must be circulated roughly twice within this time.
You can distribute the running time throughout the day. Pool water filtering is most effective when the
pool is open.
5.11 filter system
The filter system must be turned on and off manually.
An extra timer can be inserted.
Switch off the filter system.
Select the valve setting "Filter" on the backwash valve.
Switch on the filter system.
The system starts filter operation.

5.12 Backwash / rinse

To ensure optimal filtering, the system must be regularly backwashed. This frees the filter material of
impurities, and means the pool needs fresh water. Backwashing lasts approx. 3-4 minutes and depends on
the level of contamination.
You should backwash
when the manometer pressure on the filter tank has risen by 0.1 to a maximum of 0.2 bar.
when you have suctioned the floor of the pool.
at least once a week.

5.13 Recirculate

For systems with an integrated heat exchanger, the valve function "Recirculate" is beneficial when heating
up freshly-filled pool water for the first time.
The filter tank is bypassed.

5.14 Waste

The valve function "Waste" offers the opportunity to largely empty a pool with a floor drain. The filter tank is
bypassed.
The pool water is directed into the sewer.
The pump must not run dry under any circumstances.
NOTE
Make absolutely sure there is an adequate supply of water.
NOTE
Monitor the emptying process!
Terminate the process before the pump starts sucking in air.
