4.3 Requirements for the installation site

•
The foundation must be designed for the anticipated static and dynamic loads.
•
The foundation must be flat and solid.
•
The room must be frost-proof.
•
The room must be covered and dry.
•
The room must have a non-aggressive atmosphere.
•
Condensation may damage the pump; ensure the room is well ventilated.
•
Guarantee ease-of-access for service work.
•
Observe the minimum installation dimensions according to the installation plan.
•
The primary screen must be easily accessible for cleaning.
•
The absorption capacity of the floor drain and channel must at least equal the pump output.
•
The drain must be resistant to the quality of the pool water.
If the filter system is installed above the pool water level:
•
Install a check valve in the suction pipe
•
R un the pressure pipe with a clean water line over the top edge of the filter tank
and fit with a ventilation valve.
If the pool has a flood channel:
•
Install a check valve in the suction pipe.

4.4 Basic information on assembly

The filter tank / filter system pre-installed in the factory must be installed in a frost-proof way outside or
in a room.
You must make sure that the filter tank is easily accessible from all sides.
You must ensure that the filter tank's maximum working pressure of 2.0 bar and maximum operating tem-
perature of 40°C are not exceeded.
There must be a sufficiently large floor drain in the installation room to avoid water damage if there are any
leaks.

CAUTION
The filter system must be prevented from running dry!
NOTE
Recommended room height min. 2.0 m.
You need to leave 0.6 m all around it for maintenance and repair work.
The absorption capacity of the floor drain and channel must be at least
equal to the pump output.
NOTE
The filter tank and water mains must not be directly connected!
