5.5 Storing the system over winter
To protect the filter tank and water-bearing components from frost, they must be emptied of water during
periods of frost. See chapter 7.4: "Storing the filter system over winter"
5.6 Start-up
Have you read and understood this instruction manual – particularly chapter 2, Safety? You must not oper-
ate this system before you have done so!
The system may be damaged.
•
Thoroughly clean and rinse the swimming pool.
•
Close the pool's floor drain.
•
Close the shut-off valves in the suction and pressure pipe.
•
Using a hose, fill the pool with water up to the prescribed water level.
•
Push the backwash valve operating lever down and select the
•
function "Backwash".
•
O pen the lid for the primary pump screen and fill the preliminary filter housing with water.
Close the lid.

Open the suction pipe shut-off valve
5.7 Check rotational direction of the pump
For filter systems in the 400 V design, the rotational direction of the pump must be checked.
•
Push the backwash valve operating lever down and select the
•
Select "Recirculate".
•
Open the shut-off valve for the pressure pipe.
•
Briefly switch on the system and check the rotational direction.
•
The correct rotational direction is indicated by the arrow on the vent housing.
•
Switch off the system.

Do not climb on the equipment. Only carry out maintenance and cleaning work
when the system is switched off!

Work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by electricians.
•
Switch off the system and secure it against being switched back on again.
NOTE
The system may be damaged. Leaks may occur.
It is imperative that you consult a customer service engineer when first putting
the filter tank into operation and when filling it.
