Residual risks

There will always be residual risks
even if you operate this power tool
according to the instructions. The
following hazards may occur in
connection with the type and de-
sign of this power tool:
• Cut injuries if suitable gloves are
not worn.
Warning! During operation,
this power tool produces an

certain circumstances, this
fi eld may negatively affect
active or passive medical
implants. In order to reduce
the danger of serious or fa-
tal injuries, users who wear
medical implants must consult
their doctor and the manu-

operating the machine.

Regularly check the lawn for stones,

branches, wires and debris that could
cause damage to the device and blades.
Assembling and
positioning the charging
station
1. Place the charging unit (22) with the
two lugs fi rst into the baseplate (21) of
the charging station.
2. Press the charging unit (22) down so
that it is fi rmly seated in the baseplate.
3. Fix the charging unit (22) from below
to the baseplate (21) with the four en-
closed screws (19).
4. Select a fl at position near an outlet for
the charging station (17) with at least 2
m of space in front and 1 m behind.
Once you have laid and con-
nected the boundary wire, you
still need to fi x the charging station.
Please refer to chapter "Fixing the
charging station".
The distance to the edge is auto-
matically determined by the in-
formation in the chapter "Laying the
boundary wire".
Make sure that the charging station
(17) is positioned an adequate dis-
tance away from ponds, pools and steps.
We recommend installing a roof for
the charging station (17) to protect
it from weather damage.
Installing the boundary
wire
Before starting up the lawn mower, the
boundary wire (11) must be placed around
the lawn area to be covered by the au-
tomatic lawn mower. You can do this as
follows:
