Re-tighten the tensioning belts

The following must be observed if the swivel kiln stand has been
dismantled, in order to restore the tightness of the rings:
⇒ Grasp the intermediate ring by the handles and turn the
supplementary ring 2-3 times by 5-8 cm in each direction.
⇒
This ensures that the insulating blocks of the floor and the
supplementary grind in and seal each other.

All models except Ecotop

As the fire bricks give off residual moisture during the first operation the
volume of the kiln might change slightly. It is therefore essential to readjust the
tensioning belts of the stainless steel casing of the cover and main ring after
the first firings. Tighten the respective screw of the tensioning belt half a turn
clockwise to a maximum of one full turn.

Ecotop

As the fire bricks give off residual moisture during the first operation the
volume of the kiln might change slightly. It is therefore essential to readjust the
tensioning belts of the stainless steel casing of the cover and main ring after
the first firings. Tighten the respective screw of the tensioning belt half a turn
clockwise to a maximum of one full turn. Do not overtighten the stainless steel
casing, otherwise the insulating material may be damaged.
