Step Action required
5 Now lift the lid and lay it to the side.
Place the lid on a smooth, even surface. Never place it

vertically on its side!
Assemble the kiln lid
7 Assemble the kiln lid in reverse order.
8 Close the kiln lid.
Loosen the screws of the tightening belt on the kiln lid

by about 1 turn.
Press the insulating bricks down very carefully and only
slightly at the edge.

Please note:
If the gap is too big, this step will not help and the kiln
will need to be repaired by service.
Tighten the respective screw of the tensioning belt half a
turn clockwise to a maximum of one full turn. Do not

overtighten the stainless steel casing, otherwise the
insulating material may be damaged.
Please make sure that safety switch drops back into the
round hole after assembling the Toploader. If this is not

checked, the kiln will switch off and an error message
will be displayed.

7.3.1.

Dismantle the main ring (applies not to Ecotop)

From model TE 60 onwards the main ring can be detached from the floor.
Check the tensioning belts of the stainless steel kiln casing beforehand and
tighten them slightly if necessary. For transportation the catch is protected
with a pin. The protection pin must be removed in order to remove the main
ring. Bend the protection pin so that it is horizontal and pull out of the catch.
