Important safety instructions

Danger to life and injury
• Keep all packaging materials, assembly
accessories and small parts out of the
reach of children and pets!
These can be very dangerous if, for ex-
ample, they are pulled over the head or
swallowed.
• Check the appliance for damage after
unpacking.
Do not connect the appliance if it is da-
maged. This is dangerous!
Contact the customer service.
• Edges and components can be sharp and
cause injuries. Exercise appropriate cauti-
on during installation
and protect yourself if necessary, e.g.
with work gloves.
• When opening and closing the appliance,
there is a risk of pinching. Do not reach
into hinges.
• If the oven door comes off the hinge due
to carelessness, this can cause injury.
Always make sure that the door is always
firmly mounted.
Risk of electric shock
• To avoid electric shock and damage,
disconnect the appliance from the power
supply during installation, maintenance
or other work on it and switch it off before
any cleaning.

• The appliance may only be installed and
earthed by a certified electrician in com-
pliance with the applicable regulations, to
ensure the necessary safety.
The installer is responsible for the proper
functioning on site.
• Check whether the technical data (V and
Hz) on the rating plate of the appliance
match those of your domestic installati-
on.
If they do not match, return the appliance
to the point of sale.
If you are unsure, contact your electricity
supplier..
• The appliance is fitted with a plug and
must be connected to a socket outlet
installed and earthed in accordance with
all applicable regulations to avoid electric
shock.
If you are unsure, consult a certified elec-
trician.
• Ensure that there is an easily accessible
tested circuit breaker (fuse) that allows
the appliance to be completely discon-
nected from the mains supply if required.
• In the event of a malfunction or damage
to the mains cable or other elementary
components, do not continue to use the
appliance and immediately disconnect it
from the power supply by releasing the
fuse in order to avoid associated dangers.
Otherwise there is a risk of life-threate-
ning electric shock!
