Troubleshooting
Problem
The touch controls are
difficult to operate.
The cookware is not
heated and the
icon is displayed.
Heating takes an
unusually long time.
The hob switches off
unexpectedly.
The hob switches off or
off unexpectedly.
Possible cause
There is a slight
film of water on the
controls.
The fingertip is used
for operation.
The cookware is not
suitable for induction
or is not detected.
Unsuitable cookware
is used.
Fluctuations in the
power supply system
The overheating
protection was
triggered.
There is a liquid or
staining on the
control panel
The control panel has
been touched in an
uncontrolled way
What to do
Make sure the touch control area
is clean and dry.
Use the ball of your finger
when touching the controls.
Use induction-suitable cookware
in a size suitable for the desired
cooking zone and position it correctly.
See cookware chapter.
Use cookware with a high proportion
of magnetic particles (see chapter on
cookware).
Even fluctuations of 10 volts in the
mains supply can lead to a much lon-
ger cooking time.
Ensure that the ventilation paths are
not blocked and that the ambient
temperature is not too high.
Make sure that the cookware does not
protrude over the cooking zone mar-
kings in the direction of the control
panel to prevent it from overheating.
Clean and dry the hob, especially the
control panel area, and then switch it
on again.
Take care not to place anything on the
control panel and not to drag or wipe
anything over it.
If necessary, switch the hob back on
and use it as described.
