Safety instructions
This applies in particular to damage
where internal components can become
freely accessible.
• To avoid damage to the power cable and
associated hazards, ensure that it is not
bent or crushed during installation and
grasp the plug to pull it out of the socket.
• Replacement of the mains cable and
repairs, as well as maintenance on the
appliance, may only be carried out by a
certified electrician.
Never attempt to make any changes to
the appliance, its cable or the mains plug
yourself and do not disassemble it.
• To avoid possible electric shocks due to
creeping current, do not operate the ap-
pliance with wet or damp hands and wear
footwear during operation.
• Moisture penetration may cause a short
circuit or electric shock.
Do not use pressure washers or steam
cleaners to clean the appliance.
Risk of burns
• During and even after use, the accessible
parts of this appliance are very hot and
can cause burns.
Be careful not to touch the heated sur-
faces, especially the heating elements
and inner surfaces of the cooking cham-
ber, with your body, clothing or objects
and keep children away from the appli-
ance.
• Accessories and dishes become very hot
when the oven is in operation. Always
protect yourself from burns, e.g. by using
oven gloves to remove something from
the heated cooking space.
• When opening the appliance door during
or after operation, hot steam may escape
and may not be visible depending on the
temperature.
To avoid injury, always grip the door
handle in the middle and keep your dis-
tance from the edges of the door.
• Do not pour water into the hot cooking
chamber.
This will produce hot steam which can
cause injury.
The resulting temperature change can
also damage the enamel coating.
