8.4 Cleaning of the water inlet valve / water inlet filter

公 There are water inlet filters in the water inlet valve at the back of the washing
machine and at the end of the water inlet hose (connection: hose ↔ water tap) .
These filters prevent foreign substances and dirt in the water from entering the
washing machine. The filters should be cleaned regularly as they can become dirty.
The water inlet valves and water inlet filters should be cleaned at least once every
six months.
The water inlet valves and water inlet filters must be cleaned when the appliance
is not or improperly supplied with water when the water tap is open.

LEANING OF THE WATER INLET VALVE
1 . Switch on the appliance using the « O
2 . You must reduce the water pressure before cleaning the water inlet valve / filter.
Proceed as follow.
a. Close the water tap.
b. Select any washing programme ( except the programme « S
c. Press the « S
d. After 4 0 seconds, switch off the appliance using the « O
(8).
e. Disconnect the appliance from the mains ( unplug) .
3 . Remove the water inlet hose from the water tap ( s. fig. below) .
4. Remove the water inlet filter (internal sieve filter / marked grey / s. fig. below)
and clean it with water and a toothbrush.
