8. Check that the pump rotor can move freely.
9. Insert the drain pump filter and screw it in as far as possible in clockwise
direction.
10. Check that the drain pump filter is installed properly.
11. Install the cover panel.
5.3 Residual water drainage
1. Switch off the appliance is disconnect it from the mains.
2. Remove the bottom cover panel.
3. Place a container in front of the opening.
4. Open the drain pump filter, but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run.
5. Wait until the water has drained completely.
6. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
7. Carefully tilt the appliance forward so the water can be drained.
8. Insert the drain pump filter and screw it in as far as possible in clockwise
direction.
9. Check that the drain pump filter is installed properly.
10. Install the cover panel.
5.4 Cleaning of the inlet valve filter
The inlet valve filter has to be cleaned, when it is not or improperly supplied
with water with the tap opened.
1. Lower the water pressure.
a) Close the tap.
b) Select any programme except the S
c) Press the
START
approx. 40 seconds.
d) Stop the programme.
e) Disconnect the appliance from the mains (unplug).
2. Remove the water inlet hose from the tap and from the washing machine.
