7.3 Residual water drainage

WARNING! Ensure before residual water drainage that the water has
cooled down completely. RISK OF SCALDING! RISK OF BURNS!
1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Remove the cover panel of the drain pump filter (s. chapter 7.2 R

3. Place a container in front of the opening.
4. Open the drain pump filter, but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run.
5. Wait until the water has drained completely.
6. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
7. Carefully tilt the appliance forward so the water can be drained.
8. Insert the drain pump filter and screw it in as far as possible in clockwise direction.
9. Check that the drain pump filter is installed properly.
10. Reinstall and / or close the cover panel properly.

7.4 Cleaning of the water inlet valve / water inlet filter

❖ There are water inlet filters in the water inlet valve at the back of the washing
machine and at the end of the water inlet hose (connection: hose ↔ tap). These
filters prevent foreign substances and dirt in the water from entering the washing
machine. The filters should be cleaned regularly as they can become dirty.
The water inlet valves and water inlet filters should be cleaned at least once every
six months.
The water inlet valves and water inlet filters must be cleaned, when the appliance
is not or improperly supplied with water when the tap is open.

LEANING OF THE WATER INLET VALVE
1. Close the water tap.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the mains (unplug).
3. Remove the water inlet hose from the tap (s. fig. below).
4. Remove the water inlet filter (internal sieve filter / marked grey / s. fig. below)
and clean it with water and a toothbrush.
