Installing and connecting target modules

Connecting target computers to target modules

IMPORTANT: The
Fiber
technology which comply with laser class 1.
They meet the requirements in accordance to
U.S. CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11
Mind the following instructions when dealing with laser beams:
 Avoid direct eye exposure to beam on page 4
 Always connect optical connections or cover them with protection caps on page 4
 Only use G&D certified transmission modules on page 4
NOTE:
The installation of the modules is described in detail in the separate manual
Target Modules and User Modules
 Connect the target computer to the different target modules.

Connecting target modules to the central module

IMPORTANT: Mind the following instructions when installing central modules
with fiber ports:

 Connect the Trans. interfaces of each individual target module to one of the
Dynamic Ports of the central module.
