To check the wear condition of the knives, the cutting chamber must be opened.
Proceed as follows:
- Unscrew the 2 knobs 16 -17 closing the cutting chamber.
CAUTION DANGER OF CUTTING AND CRUSHING, USE EXTREME CAUTION.
EVEN IF THE ENGINE IS SWITCHED OFF, THE CUTTING MASS IS STILL FREE TO
ROTATE AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE OR INJURY.
Check the wear condition of the knives, if necessary sharpen by working only the A-side.

- Lift the hopper upwards and place it on the sieve control lever.
At this point the cutting mass is accessible for
cleaning/checking the knives.
Check the knives
sharpen/replace if necessary.
To resume work, it is necessary to close the cutting
chamber tightly and mount the 2 knobs "16 - 17" in
the correct seat.
The long knob 16 should only be mounted on the
side of the safety microswitch. Reversing the knobs
will not start the engine.
