9. SAFETY MICRO-SWITCH

All BIOCH-50 Series Shredders are equipped with a safety microswitch that prevents the
engine from starting if the cutting chamber is open. (See pages 7-8). In the event of
accidental or intentional opening of the cutting chambers with the engine running, it switches
off the engine and the different knob lengths are calibrated to prevent opening until the cutting
mass has stopped. To resume work, the cutting chamber must be closed tightly and the two
"A" knobs must be fitted in the correct position. The long knob (see page 8-9) should only be
mounted on the side of the safety microswitch. Reversing the knobs will not start the engine.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO SWITCH OFF THE ENGINE BY UNSCREWING THE LONG KNOB
WITH SAFETY MICROSWITCH, USE THE SWITCH ON THE ENGINE.

Operations will be described in order to use the machine safely, pay close attention.
Translation
Take the hopper and bring it closer to
the Shredder by bringing the 2 flanges
together.
Mount the hopper by securing it tightly
using all 4 screws provided.
