Below are the maintenance operations, pay close attention.
AFTER THE ENGINE IS SWITCHED OFF, THE CUTTING MASS ROTATES FOR 5-10
SECONDS BEFORE COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP.
IN ANY CASE, WAIT UNTIL THE CUTTING MASS HAS STOPPED COMPLETELY BEFORE
CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING WORK.
ANY MAINTENANCE, ADJUSTMENT, CLEANING MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE
ENGINE SWITCHED OFF AND COLD, WITH THE SPARK PLUG CABLE DISCONNECTED.
22.
FIRST USE/RE-COMMISSIONING AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF INACTIVITY
Before using the machine for the first time, or after a long period of inactivity, the following
must be carried out:

Check the machine for damage;

Check the mechanical parts, which must be in good condition and not rusted;

Check the wear condition of the knives;

Carefully grease all moving parts (where applicable);

Check that there are no oil leaks;

Check that all guards are correctly positioned;

Check engine oil levels;

Carry out a general visual inspection of the machine to detect any structural lesions, note
any deep scratches on the paintwork, check that the original safety pictograms are present
in their positions and that they are intact and legible;

CUTTING CHAMBER CLEANING/KNIFE WEAR CHECK
Constant control of knife sharpening, cleaning of the cutting mass, cutting chamber and
discharge curve ensure that the machine is always optimally utilised, preventing overloading of
the engine and unbalancing.
ANY MAINTENANCE, ADJUSTMENT, CLEANING MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE
ENGINE SWITCHED OFF AND COLD, WITH THE SPARK PLUG CABLE DISCONNECTED.
IN THE CASE OF THE ELECTRICAL VERSION, DISCONNECT THE POWER CABLE FROM
THE SOCKET.
