SAFETY REQUIREMENTS - GENERAL

DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE WHO IGNORE THESE INSTRUCTIONS OR CHILDREN TO USE THE
MACHINE.
USE BY PERSONS UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE IS PROHIBITED;
REMEMBER THAT THE OPERATOR OR USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS OR
DANGERS INVOLVING OTHER PEOPLE OR THEIR PROPERTY;
Familiarise with the owner's manual before operating the equipment.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS - PREPARATION

1) Never operate the machine in the presence of people, especially children, or pets in the
vicinity of the machine;
2) Do not allow children to operate this equipment;
3) Local laws may prescribe age limits for the operator;
4) Do not operate this equipment in the vicinity of unauthorised persons;
5) Do not use motorised machines in an enclosed area because the exhaust gas of an engine
contains carbon monoxide, which is colourless, odourless and tasteless; carbon monoxide
is extremely dangerous in enclosed areas;
6) Wear ear protection and safety glasses whenever operating the machine;
7) Avoid wearing loose clothing or clothing with hanging strings or laces;
8) Only operate the machine in an open space (e.g. not near a wall or other fixed object) and
on a flat, stable surface;
9) Operate the machine on the ground, in a horizontal and consistent level, with the brake
applied and all guards locked, in good light and visibility conditions;

Before starting the machine, check that all screws, nuts, bolts and other attachments are
properly fastened and that guards and screens are in place. Replace damaged or illegible
labels;

Use great care when handling fuels. They are flammable and the vapours are explosive;
12)
Grin srl cannot cover every reasonably unforeseeable misuse that could lead to a potential
hazard;
13)
The signs attached to the machine provide a number of important indications: observing
them serves your safety;
14)
Avoid working on muddy, sandy or loose soil;
15)
For safety reasons, bring the material closer to the machine before starting shredding.
16)
Do not move around the machine with tools in hand to avoid pricks or cuts by tripping.
17)
NEVER use the machine to transport people, animals or objects;
