4.6. Lifting and holding points

To load the power wheelchair you should ideally use ramps due to the
weight. If you still need to lift the wheelchair, grip it by firmly-fixed
frame parts or the hold points (Fig. 28 and Fig. 29). Do not hold it by
the casing, electronic parts and other attachments. For transportation
you can secure the power wheelchair using the two eyelets, at the front
and back (Fig. 29 and Fig. 29). These brackets are not for transporting
individuals, to do this see Chapter 2.2.

5. Accessories

5.1. Comfort seat and backrest

For greater comfort, the wheelchair can be fitted with a comfort seat
and comfort backrest.

5.2. Headrest (optional)

If needed the wheelchair can also be fitted with a headrest.
5.3. Elevating, width-adjustable
legrest (optional)
For further adjustment options for the legrest, elevating, width-
adjustable legrests are available

5.4. Width-adjustment guide (op-
tional)
If required, the wheelchair can also be fitted with a width adjustment
guide. This enables adjustment of the legrests to the seat width.
5.5. VR2 attendant control unit (op-
tional)
With the VR2 attendant control unit, the wheelchair can be controlled
by an attendant.

5.6. Pneumatic tyres (optional)

If required, the wheelchair can be fitted with pneumatic tyres.

5.7. Kerb climber (optional)

The kerb climber will make it easier for you to get up steps of up to
100 mm Fig. 31).
Using the kerb climber requires skill and experience. Practise with the
kerb climber on clear ground first, with an attendant.
When using the kerb climber, observe all the safety instructions for the
wheelchair.
Attention: risk of falling! Always drive up to the
kerb head on. Driving up at an angle can lead to
accidents.
