An excessively strong air fl ow at the start of blow-drying will dilute the bonding and
may result in inadequate adhesion.
The surface must be visibly shiny after application of iBond Total Etch and after evaporation
of the solvent. Make certain that the complete surface of the cavity is fully covered. If the
cavity does not appear to be completely shiny all over, apply iBond Total Etch a second time
as described above. Make sure that no excess remains in corners of the cavity.

Insuffi cient lamp intensity will result in inadequate adhesion. Polymerisation lamps
should be tested with reliable testing devices at regular intervals. The light emitting
window should be placed as close as possible to the plastic surface during polymeri-

Then immediately apply and process the fi lling material in the cavity as directed by the
manufacturer.
