1.2 Conditioning
Prior to application of iBond
structure with an adequate etching gel is mandatory (e.g. iBond Etch 35 Gel/Gluma Etch 35
Gel, iBond Etch 20 Gel/Gluma Etch 20 Gel by Heraeus Kulzer).
1.3 Application of iBond Total Etch
• Place iBond Total Etch in a Dappen glass, pick it up with an applicator tip or a soft disposable
brush and apply it generously to the complete surface of the cavity.
• Allow iBond Total Etch to set for 15 seconds.
• iBond Total Etch contains ethanol as a solvent. Carefully evaporate solvent and residual mois-
ture under a gentle air stream until no movement of liquid can be detected.
