3) Select the appropriate temperature setting with the temperature
control 4 .
NOTE
► Always place the iron on the stand 6 while it heats up .
► When the iron is placed on the stand 6, steam production is
automatically stopped .
■ The indicator lamp 9 lights up . The indicator lamp 9 goes out
once the set temperature has been reached .
4) Wait until the indicator lamp 9 goes out .
5) If you want to iron with steam, press the steam switch
that it disengages and protrudes beyond the appliance surface .
The temperature control 4 must be set in the
produce steam .
NOTE
► The indicator lamp 9 may come on and go out several times
during this process . This is not an appliance malfunction! It
merely indicates that the appliance is heating up again to
maintain the temperature .
6) When you want to stop ironing, turn the temperature regula-
tor 4 to MIN, press the steam switch
plug from the mains power socket .

Anti-drip system

This iron has an anti-drip system . This stops water from dripping from
the sole of the iron 8 when the temperature is too low to produce
enough steam .
This prevents water stains on clothing .
