Start‐up
The following applies for the measurement result: The sum of the forces
present at the sensors is measured.
Calculation of charge at output
Output charge = Force_1 * Sensitivity_Sensor_1 + Force_2 *

Tip
With sensors that have the same sensitivity, i.e. the same type, calculate the
force by dividing the measured charge by the sensor sensitivity.
Example
Two CFT/5kN are connected with the CMA5000/2. The sensor sensitivities are
each 7.8 pC/N.
The sensitivity of the parallel connection is also 7.8 pC/N. The maximum output
charge is 78,000 pC at 10 kN. Please note that the force distribution is not
always uniform.
