12. Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
The appliance will
not start.
The appliance is not
working.
The food is under-
cooked or unevenly
fried in the set time.
Strong smoke or
odour development
during cooking.
If the malfunction cannot be corrected or if you have found some other kind
of malfunction, please contact our Customer Service department.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The pan 7 and frying
basket 2 are not properly
clicked into place.
The appliance is not
connected to a mains
power socket.
The appliance is switched
off.
The appliance is defective.
Too much food in the
frying basket 2.
Pieces too big.
The temperature is too low
or the cooking time too
short.
The food is in contact with
the heating element and is
burning.
POSSIBLE
SOLUTIONS
Make sure that the
pan 7 with the frying
basket 2 are sitting
straight in the housing.
Connect the appliance
to a mains power
socket.
Switch the appliance
on by pressing the
On/Off button i.
Contact the Customer
Service department.
Do not exceed the
MAX marking in the
frying basket 2.
Cut the food into
smaller pieces.
Turn the food or shake
it several times during
cooking.
Increase the temper-
ature or the cooking
time.
Do not exceed the
MAX marking in the
frying basket 2.
