Electromagnetic Compatibility
Electromagnetic compatibility, or EMC, means that a device's electromagnetic
(EM) environment does not cause interference, and the device does not emit
levels of EM energy that cause electromagnetic interference (EMI) in other
nearby devices. Rules and regulations set by the Federal Communication
Commission (FCC) and international agencies minimize interference between
electronic devices.
Under specific circumstances the Clinician Programmer could potentially
interfere with other electronics. If you think the Clinician Programmer is causing
interference, try turning the Clinician Programmer off and on to confirm the
interference. You may correct interference by moving the Clinician Programmer
away from the affected device or plugging the Clinician Programmer into a
different electrical outlet if being used while plugged in.
WARNING: Only authorized clinicians should use the Clinician
Programmer.
WARNING: Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other
equipment should be avoided because it could result in improper
operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other
equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
