Now, you may wonder why there are no black channels, for instance, in the first cue. The Overview only
shows changes in comparison to the previous cue.
When you start programming, all channels are in a zero setting. This should, strictly speaking, be
represented by a series of 256 black dots. However, as this does not show any value change, the
channels are exclusively shown with a yellow dot in the first cue, meaning that they were subject to a
change.
All further Cues only show the changes in comparison to the previous Cue.
For our example, this means:
In the first Cue, channels 1, 2, and 4 are set with a mean value, and channel 3 is set to the highest DMX
value. In the following Cue, channels 2 to 4 continue with this setting. Only the value of channel 1 was
changed to 255. In Cue 3, all channels remain unchanged compared to the second Cue, except that the
value of channel 3 was set to 0.
The section of a Cue is colour highlighted beneath the time axis. Cue 1 is given the colour dark blue,
Cue 2 green, Cue 3 light blue, etc.
Here you can change the wait time of the individual Cue. To this effect, you have to move the mouse
pointer to the limitation of a Cue. The mouse pointer then turns into a double arrow. You can now
change the time range of a Cue by clicking on and holding the left-hand mouse key.
