Channel groups
The section "Channel Groups" is located in the top left corner of the screen. Nested in this section are all
channels you have used to form individual groups.
To simplify programming, individual channels or units can be grouped:
The "ALL CHANNELS (main group)" group is set as a default. This group contains all 256 DMX
channels available, and can neither be deleted or renamed.
The following steps are required to create channel groups:
4.2.1
Channel selection
Channels can be selected by actuating the individual selection button beneath a fader.
If you wish to select all channels in one go, you do not have to select each one individually. The two
buttons "All" and "None" are located at the bottom right directly next to the faders.
Press the "All" button if you wish to select all channels at once. Following this mouse click, all selection
buttons will turn red.
All selections will be cancelled by clicking on the "None" button.
4.2.2
Grouping channels
Once you have selected all required channels in the manner described above, press the "Group" button
beneath the "Channel Groups" section on the screen. This causes a dialog window to appear. Now
enter the name of the new group in this window and confirm by pressing the "OK" button. The name
"Group X" is always entered as a default (X= sequential numbering). This dialog window disappears
when pressing the "Quit" button.
4.2.3
Renaming channel groups
It is possible to change the name of a channel group at any time (except the name of the ALL
CHANNELS group). To do so, select the group to be renamed by clicking on it. Then press the
"Rename" button. Following this, the text input window reappears, in which you can enter the new
designation and confirm same with "OK". The new entry can be cancelled by pressing the "Quit" button,
and you will return to the main mask.
