8.1.2 230 V fuse (Combi D E)
The fuse and power supply lines must be replaced
by an expert� The following information in this
section is intended only for the expert who will carry
out the work�
DANGER
Electric shock when working on the elec-
tronics
Before opening the electronics cover, discon-
nect all poles from the mains supply�
The fuse (Fig� 12-4) is located on the power electronics
beneath the electronics cover (Fig� 12-3)�
DANGER
Risk of fire if an unsuitable fuse is used
May be replaced only with a Truma original
part (part number 39050-00381)
Disconnect all poles from the battery�
Remove the connector cover (Fig� 12-1)�
Before removing the cables, take note of the pin al-
location (take a photo if necessary)�
Unplug all cables from the PCB�
Undo the screws (Fig� 12-2) with a Torx 20
screwdriver�
Remove the electronics cover�
Replace the fuse�
Replace the electronics cover�
Screw in the screws with a Torx 20 screwdriver�
Connect all cables to the PCB�
Replace the connector cover�
Reconnect the battery�

8.1.3 230 V overheating protection (Combi D E)
The water container has a mechanical overheating pro-
tection switch that interrupts the 230 V power supply if
the water temperature is too high�
Allow the heater to cool�
Disconnect all poles of the appliance from the mains
supply�

Remove the connector cover (Fig� 13-1)�
Press the red reset button (Fig� 13-2)�
Use a pencil or similar to press the reset button�
Replace the connector cover�

8.3 Restarting (after a long period of
non-use)
8.3.1 Ensure a power supply
Check that the vehicle battery is charged�
If necessary, charge the vehicle battery�
8.3.2 Cleaning the water system
See "Cleaning the water container"�
With a new Combi D or if the appliance has not
been used for some time, rinse all hot / cold water
hoses with drinking water thoroughly before use�
8.3.3 Filling water
See "Filling the water container"�
8.3.4 Checking the wall cowl
If the vehicle has not been used for some time, insects,
spiders or other small animals may have built a nest in
the wall cowl�
Before starting the heater after long periods of non-
use, visually check the wall cowl for damage or for-
eign bodies�
