The absorption phase continues until the battery is
fully charged, or until the charging current has
been below 6.25% of the rated charging current
for 15 minutes.
4: Float phase
In the float phase, the 100% battery state of charge
is maintained without overcharging or damaging
the battery.
If DC loads are connected, they are powered by
the device. Only if the power required exceeds the
capacity of the device is this surplus power pro-
vided by the battery. The battery is then dis-
charged until the device re-enters the bulk phase
and charges the battery.
5: Store phase
After a certain time in the float phase, the store
phase in entered. In this phase, the state of charge
is maintained with continuous fixed voltage, used
for long term storage.
6: Restart / Recondition phase
Different battery types will have a different repair
interval time, when the battery charging will restart
to revive the battery. This reset prevents fatigue
symptoms such as sulfation. Set the DIP switches
according to your battery type for this setting (see
chapter "DIP switch settings" on page 13).

Temperature compensation
With the temperature sensor, the battery charger
adjusts the charging voltage (for lead batteries) or
the charging current (for LiFePO4 batteries)
according to the measured temperature at the bat-
tery.

Remote control (accessory)
A remote control can be connected to the charger.
From the remote control, the fan can be put in
silent mode or turned off, and an indicator LED
shows the status of the charging.
The remote control has the following elements:
• Indicator LED: Silent
• Indicator LED: Status
• Button: Silent (On Off 3 sec)

When selecting the installation location, the fol-
lowing requirements must be met:
• Do not install the charger in the following situa-
tions:
– In wet environment
– In dusty environment
– In the vicinity of combustible materials
– In areas where there is a danger of explosions
