• The place of installation must be well ventilated.
A ventilation system must be available for instal-
lation in small, enclosed space. The clearance
around the device must be at least 10 cm
(fig. 4, page 4).
• The air inlet on the front side and the fan on the
back of the charger must remain clear.
• Do not install the charger in the same area as the
batteries.
• Do not install the charger above batteries,
because they can emit corrosive sulfur fumes
that will damage the device.
• For ambient temperatures higher than 40 °C
(such as in engine or heating compartments, or
direct sunlight), the heat from the charger under
load can lead to reduced output.
• The charger must be installed on a level and suf-
ficiently sturdy surface.
• The battery charger can be installed horizontally
or vertically, as well as lying or hanging (fig. 5,
page 5).

Before drilling any holes, make sure that
no electrical cables or other parts of the
vehicle can be damaged by drilling, saw-
ing and filing.
Fasten the device as follows:
1. Hold the device against the installation loca-
tion.
2. Mark the fastening points with a pen.
3. Fasten the device with one screw through
each hole in the holders.
– Use machine bolts (M4) with washers and self-
locking nuts or self-tapping screws / wood
screws.

Pin assignment
A 6 pin connector allows connections for fan con-
trol and external signals (fig. 6, page 5).
S:IN and S:OUT enable a signal that for example
lights up a lamp connected to S:OUT when there is
voltage to the S:IN.
Cable fuse
Sense + and sense - are inputs for sense cables to
measure and control the charging voltage at the
battery. This is useful for long battery charge
