Caution
The control unit should be installed in a frost-free,
dry, weather-protected area. During storage and
installation of the system, the pump and sensors
should not come in contact with water. In the case
that the area is in a location at risk of flooding, the
control unit should be installed in a secure place to
ensure no flood water reaches it. Before installing
the KESSEL Aqualift F Compact lifting station be
sure that no damage occurred during shipping.

2.1 Installation in a concrete slab/floor

The system should be installed on smooth com-
pact secure base. Insert the included lip seal in
the recessed area of the open upper neck of the
tank and then lubricate / grease only the inner
portion of the seal. Insert the upper section into
the greased seal. By using the vertically adjusta-
ble upper section, the final installation height of
the upper section / cover can easily be reached.
The upper section with the cover can also be til-
ted up to 5 degrees to match any floor slopes.
The cover can also be twisted to help match any
tiling patterns on the floor if applicable (see il-
lustration 2).
It is possible that an opening needs to be made
where the conduit pipe enters the tank (ill. 3).

Before pouring the concrete floor slab:
- Make sure that the seal between the body and
the upper section is properly fixed
- Make sure all pipes are properly connected
- Ensure that the upper section / cover are in the
desired location / height
2.2 Deeper installation in the floor
(concrete slab)
Depending on the installation depth and the in-
stallation situation, various KESSEL extension
sections can be installed. In any case, the sea-
ling gaskets of the extension section have to be
lubricated properly.
In order to enable proper accessibility for main-
tenance the maximum installation depth for the
system below finished flooring is 80cm. Further-
more, for the installation in a concrete slab, a
maximum installation depth of 650 mm from
the upper edge of the functional/technical
area or unit (e.g. pump), also see ill. 4.
