2.3 Connections
2.3.1 Side inlet connections
The system comes equipped with a DN 100 late-
ral inlet connection hole. Inlet drainage pipes to
the system should have a minimum slope of 2 %.
Caution
Do not drill any holes into the pump tank. Im-
properly drilling a hole can cause irreparable
damage.

2.3.2 Drain connection

The drain connection should only be connected
to the Aqualift F after the pump has been instal-
led (see Section 2.4). The connection between
the integrated drain cover and the tank is hand-
led by the included internal drain pipe connec-
tion. This internal drain pipe connection should
be inserted into the pump tank and secured with
the one-handed closure. In the case that a clo-
sed cover is used (without an integrated drain)
the opening in the tank should be closed with
the included plug.
In the case that extension sections are used for
deeper installations, an extension between the
cover drain and the tank inlet is required – this
can be handled with an on-site sourced DN 70
HT drainage pipe (OD 75mm).

2. Installation
X < 115 mm – shorten the drain connection to
the required height
X > 120 mm – the drain connection needs to be
lengthened with a DN 70 pipe.
A) Shorten by a maximum of 15 mm
B) Shorten by a maximum of 100 mm
2.3.3 Pressure pipe connection
Note: Connection of pressure pipe to system
must be carried out without tension.
Before connecting, always screw on the enclosed
adapter with external thread (Fig. 6). Either a KES-
SEL pressure pipe set (art. no. 28062 / 28040),
the click adapter for PE welding (art. no. 28086)
or PVC bonding can be continued at the adapter.
The pressure pipe should be laid above the
backwater level (normally defined as ground
level) and then immediately enlarged to a DN 70
ventilated pipe. Non-certified pipes such as HT
pipes should not be used as pressure pipe.
In the case that the pressure pipe is to be laid in
the concrete slab it should be de-coupled with
the slab in order to prevent any sound / vibration
transfer from the pipe to the concrete slab as well
as prevent any damage to the connections.
