7.7.1 Main components

LE 100 measuring
system
CAUTION
Due to the adjustment work required, the stroke measuring

system should only be changed by specialist personnel.
Different measuring systems are used in the drives. This operating
manual describes two measuring systems.
• LE 100
• TTK70
For more information on the optical stroke measuring systems,
refer to the separate operating manuals.
The LE 100 measuring system is a non-contact incremental
measuring system. In conjunction with the measuring tape in the
SCHUNK axes, the sensor head supplies a sin/cos signal and a
periodically recurring reference signal.
