Put the base plate (13) on the floor, or on
a work bench.

Put the column (10) on the base plate (13)
and align the screw holes in the column
flange and base plate.

Screw the column (10) to the base plate
(13) with three screws (L) and washers
(G + H).
FITTING THE TABLE ON
THE COLUMN
Slide the table holder and table (1) on to the
column (10). Lock the table in the required
position with the clamping handle (12).

Put the machine head (A) with the belt cover
(5) and motor (7) on the column (10) and
tighten with the hex screws (M).

THE SPINDLE
NOTE:
All non surface treated metal surfaces are
greased to prevent corrosion. Before fitting
the chuck (15) on the spindle (N) the contact
surfaces of both parts must be washed clean
of grease with eco-friendly degreasing agent
for the transmission of power between the
spindle and chuck to function.

Clean the conical hole in the chuck (15)
and the conical surface on the spindle (N)
with a clean cloth. Check that both
surfaces are clean and free from foreign
particles. The slightest amount of dirt will
prevent the correct alignment between
