Problem
The cookware does not
heat up and " " appears
in the sensor field.
The appliance switches
off unexpectedly. You
will hear a beep and an
error message (usually
a flashing timer display)
will appear in the sensor
field.

Error display in the sensor field

Error code Possible problem
E1 / E2 Wrong mains voltage.
E3 / E4 One of the heat sensors in the glass
ceramic hob measures excessive
temperature.
E5 Overheating electronics.
F1–F6 Temperature sensor error.
F9–FA
FC Connection error between display and
motherboard.
Possible solutions/tips
The induction hobs do not recognise the cookware because it is
not suitable for induction hobs. Select suitable cookware (see "The
right cookware" on page EN-12).
The induction hob does not recognise the cookware because it is
too small for the selected cooking area or because it is not centred
on the cooking area.
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor
field, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and contact
our service center (see "Service" on page EN-28).
