Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Improper use, faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may result in
an electric shock or short-circuiting.
■ Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can
put your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are al-
lowed to carry out this repair work.
■ Do not continue to cook if you fi nd cracks in the glass ceramic. Water that runs
through cracks into the appliance may be live and can cause electric shock! Imme-
diately disconnect the appliance from the mains (switch off and/or unscrew fuses)
and contact our service center (see "Service" on page EN-28).

Possible solutions/tips
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuse on the fuse
box in the home. If you have any concerns, contact our service
center (see "Service" on page EN-28).
The safety lock is now enabled. Switch it off (see "Safety lock" on
page EN-17).
A film of water is covering the sensor, or you did not touch the
sensors with your entire fingertip. Clean and dry the sensor field,
and always touch the sensor with the entire fingertip and not just
the very end of the finger.

The appliance is equipped with a fan that switches on automatically
when one of the cooking areas is activated and continues to run for
some time after the appliance has been switched off.
Do not shut off power to the appliance while the fan is running.
